A reminder of the RefWorks workshop for Anthropology graduate students, this Friday November 19 from 2-4.
RefWorks is a web-based citation management program that lets you gather, store, manage, and share citations, and generate bibliographies and formatted papers. We’ll explore how you can use RefWorks to create your own personal databases by importing citations from GoogleScholar, the library catalogue, AnthropologyPlus, and other Anthropology databases. Then we’ll see how easily RefWorks will format your paper and bibliography according to your selected citation style, including the American Anthropology Association style.
We’ll be meeting in Koerner Library room 216. Please bring your laptop. If you don’t have one or don’t want to lug it to campus, you can sign one out at the Koerner circulation desk. (Check availability in the catalogue by doing a title search for “laptop computer“.)
This session is only for Anthropology graduate students. If you’re interested in RefWorks but you’re not in Anthro, please check the Library workshop calendar for other RefWorks workshops.
