The books, journals, government publications, electronic resources, maps and atlases, and microforms in the collection support the study, teaching, and research needs of the students and faculty in the humanities and social sciences.
Areas we cover include Anthropology, English, Geography, History, Political Science, Psychology, Religious Studies, Social Work, Theatre and many more. For a full list of the subject areas we cover along with the Subject Librarian for that area, visit the Subject Librarians’ page.
The HSS collection is housed in both Koerner Library and Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, with the majority of materials in Koerner Library.
We have a strong and quickly growing collection of online resources, including journals, ebook collections, databases, and data.
