The Canadian Health Measures Survey (CHMS) is a Statistics Canada survey designed to collect valuable information about the health of Canadians. Enhancing the visibility and use of this collected information is critical to the success of the survey.
From November 1 to December 31, 2015, Statistics Canada is inviting researchers to apply for access to blood, urine and DNA samples from the CHMS Biobank for use in health studies. For more information and a brief summary on how to access the CHMS biospecimens please see this flyer.
Further details about the application and review process may be found by visiting the Biobank section of the Statistics Canada website at http://www.statcan.gc.ca/survey-enquete/household-menages/5071g-eng.htm or by contacting the CHMS biobank coordinator at chms-biobank@statcan.gc.ca or joanne.boisjoli@canada.ca.
