What is Open Education Week (OE Week)?
Open Education Week (OE Week) is a global event dedicated to raising awareness about Open Education and sharing the latest achievements in the field. Launched in 2012 by Open Education Global, it allows practitioners, educators and students to learn together in a collaborative, community-built open forum, and get inspired by Open Educational Practices from around the world. Last year, several British Columbians won Open Education Awards for Excellence; you can hear more about their stories here.
OE Week Events at UBC
As in previous years, UBC is taking part in Open Education Week by offering a series of events with a special focus on Open Educational Resources (OER) and Indigenous Knowledge and Sovereignty.
